Love this scent!

Love this scent. Been wearing it since it came out. Scent isn’t as strong and doesn’t last as long, but I still wear it

I bought this parfum for my partner for a milestone celebration, and we both love the warmth and musky smell of this fragrance. What a special joy it is to be able to treat my partner with wonderful scents and support businesses making these gifts possible.

I LOVE this scent! I just wish the lotion could come back. Is this possible? Pleeease!!!

My favorite has been missing for years. Bring back Tokyo Milk Excess Handcream. Handcream is best ever. Not a fan of the perfume in that scent.

Wonderful and layers beautifully with any creamy orange scented lotion.

New fan of these perfumes. Purchased one Tainted love which smelled amazing, however it lasted maybe 30 min and I could no longer smell it. Recently smelled Excess and wanted so bad to get that one but worried after seeing that reviews that things have changed this will be more of the same disappointment. If your LOYAL customers are telling you something is different…you might want to listen. Something changed….

Excellent patchouli fragrance.

The only way this can be a 5 star is to have the lotion make a comeback. Creative team, bring back the lotion--it truly is a gem of a product.

Delightful scent. I adore this perfume and it could be a favorite that I would buy again but it just doesn't have stay with me longer than a couple of hours. When I first put it on I get lots of compliments. However I have to reapply after two hours and I find that disappointing.

It's a solid patchouli without the cliché, "dirty hippie" smell. The resin top note and mossy undertone give it complexity, but it's subtle enough to wear without giving others a headache.

Excess has been my signature scent for about 10 years now. As a very long time patchouli lover, this is the perfect blend. I only wish the lotion would come back!

I was able to find your line somewhere at an oddity shop in Georgia, after my brother had been using your fragrances for a while, I knew I had to find mine, and after swelling my nostrils with all the bottles they had, THIS is the one for me, this meshes so well with my skin. My brother scared me saying you discontinued it so I had to check just in case, so it’s still here :) just please don’t discontinue yet, I just got my first bottle. I’ll need more ;).

Excess perfume is good but I miss the hand cream so much. Please bring it back!

Amber Resin, Oak Bark, Blood Orange, Patchouli. Anytime I see the word “patchouli” I feel I must buy the scent. I also love Amber. Not sure why, but I don’t smell this scent on me at all, and my husband doesn’t either. Could be my chemistry. I normally can wear very strong scents and not kill everyone around me. I love this company and vibe, so I will say it’s a 5 star rating…but this particular scent just doesn’t project on me.

Like the title states, I have worn this for almost 10 years and I still find it richly unique and pleasing. After going through all my backup bottles a few years ago I bought a couple of new ones and immediately felt like the scent was different, like bug spray. After retrying those newer bottles a few times I realized that "different" scent was only present for the first few minutes of wearing the perfume and it always dries down to my favorite perfume, the "original" excess. I saw manymanymany reviews that claimed the perfume was changed and the ingredients were not the same and it smelled sooo different, and I agreed at first. After refusing to give up I learned that the scent that drew me in is still very much present just not immediately after applying. I don't know the perfume words to describe the phenomenon but you must take my word for it, it IS the original scent that made excess such a special fragrance.

I love this niche fragrance. Not way out in personality, but quirky enough to draw compliments .

I bought this so I could get free shipping because I’m a huge fan of Bulletproof. Excess has been a wonderful surprise. The first day I wore it, I received a compliment in the elevator, and then again at lunchtime. The scent is very complex and smells different going on than it does after you have worn it for a few hours. The bitterness of the blood orange bleeds slowly down to a clean version of patchouli, making it a good scent for men, and women.

Grabbed this on sale and not disappointed, smells beautiful and earthy.

My wife loved this and when she ran out we picked up a new bottle. Suffice it to
say, like many others have said this is not the same formulation as the previous bottle. It has stronger Amber overtones and it doesn’t last as long, the original had a more noticeable patchouli smell to it. Be warned if you are replacing and older bottle, it more than. Likely will not be the same. Now I’m stuck with a $50 bottle of we can’t/don’t want to use.

I have the hand lotion in this scent and I’ve had it for years because I just didn’t know where else to get it. I am now sadly out of it and came to the good ol internet to order and sadly can’t find it. I really hope this gets brought back as a lotion so I can re order. I don’t usually wear perfume but when I do I wear their other scent Bulletproof and I don’t need any more. But I love the hand lotion it wasn’t too strong and I love amber and it’s so hard to find a true amber resin.

Excess smells better than what I expected. Stronger than what I expected also, I mainly go for soft floral scents, but I cant stop smelling this one. It scent does last a good day or two in my hair, which I love.

Excess is hands down my favorite scent ever. It is so rich and earthy. I have been in love with it for years. BUT, my first love is the hand crème of this scent. I have been waiting forever for it’s return. Will it ever come back? I would pay a high price to have it again. PLEASE bring it back. Somehow the scent is even better in the crème form. In the meantime, the perfume will do, and I am grateful Excess is still available at least!

I’ve been lamenting the loss of Tokyo Milk Excess for a few years, like I literally shed tears when I could no longer find it ANYWHERE. I’ve tried to find other “professional hippy” scents but none compared and all left me disappointed. Today, I randomly decided to search for Excess one more time and voilà!!! IT’S BACK!!!!!! Cue my credit card, stat. Please, please, please NEVER deprive us of this line again, I know I’m not the only one who’s thrilled to see it back!

I so missed Excess. No scent that I tried after it "seemed to fit". Then I received the email that Excess was back. Thank you. It still fits best of all. Please bring back the hand lotion!!!!!
