Sonoran Bloom Eau de Parfum

I was introduced to this company during a recent layover at Denver Colorado airport. A small shop had travel sized bottles of a few perfumes and hand lotions. I selected the Honey and the Moon perfume and matching hand lotion. I had 5 different people comment on how wonderful I smelled over the next week while I was traveling. Complete strangers asking me what I was wearing. When I got home I immediately ordered the full sized perfume as well as Sonoran Bloom and Kabuki. All three of these perfumes are outstanding. They are delicately layered scents that last but are not overpowering. What I am most impressed with is the unique blends of each of these. I purchased 3 perfumes and none of them smell like any perfume I've ever owned and they all smell completely different. Many small companies have a base formula they add more vanilla or patchouli to and call it a "new" scent when it's just a remix of the same 3 inexpensive fragrances. These perfumes are intricate, intriguing, and let's be practical affordable. They easily compare in quality to perfumes 3-4 times the price. Also the packaging is so beautiful and practical. Keeps bottles protected from light and look so pretty on my vanity. Absolutely recommend these perfumes to everyone looking for a perfume that isn't boring at a reasonable price point. These are probably not for people who don't like unique scents though.

A bit powdery for my taste but the scent is long lasting and I do get lots of compliments when I wear it

I've been a Tainted Love devotee for a while, and I was reluctant to change. Petrichore, however, is a scent that stirs the deepest parts of my soul, so I had to try Sonoran Bloom. As another reviewer stated, on me, the scent is more clay & petrichore-forward, with an undertone of agave and sonoran bloom, which is Perfect for me. This is my new favorite scent; warm and subtle. I am a no-fuss/ low maintenance person who enjoys a hint of scent, instead of a floral tsunami.
I will say there is one frustration about this scent. . . no body-lotion or other products with this Perfect scent. I have the hand cream and perfume but PLEASE add products that carry this amazing scent!!

I’ve been wearing Bulletproof for years and years and decided to try this scent as I love the desert. This is a beautiful fragrance and I think I found my new daily favorite. On me it definitely smells more clay/petrichor forward and not so flowery which I love.

Don’t know if mine is defective or what but it only lasts a few minutes on me. As an actual Sonoran desert dweller living with Saguaros in my yard I was beyond excited to get this. It’s just a big let down. Pretty bottle!

I saw this and was intrigued, I'm so glad I bought it, it's like nothing else I already owned. This is a fresh earthy floral that goes slightly powdery on me in the most addictive way. Would buy again and again.

Nice smell, sometimes a tad strong for me personally

ONLY perfume I've ever purchased multiple times. Unusual scent that's supposed to be floral, but isn't...quite. Very refreshing. Its my go to summer scent.

For some reason many perfumes I've tried do not last long on me, even with all the tips and tricks. But this perfume is just a powerhouse; it lasts all day for me and has great projection I get compliments all the time on this perfume; by far my most complimented perfume of my collection. It's just such a cool-girl scent, and I love the feeling it evokes. I spent a lot of time in the southwestern US and this perfume captures the feeling perfectly for me. Please never retire this beautiful fragrance!

Describing scent is so subjective and not my strong suit but I can say I LOVE this scent and would purchase again. It is soft, understated and beautiful; floral without being obviously so. Destined to join my other ME favs....

I chose this scent for the mention of “petrichor and red clay”. Reviews generally stated appealing notes, but I disagree. I smell no clay or petrichor. Just powdery floral and a weird musty base note which gave me flashbacks to the mummy exhibit at the Field Museum. I will be returning ASAP.

Please make this into a perfume in a bigger bottle!!! I’ve bought 6 of these mini sprays. Love it

I love Dead Sexy so I was scared to try a new scent but I love the desert so I said why not lol this is a definite tie with Dead Sexy in my book

I got this perfume in the subscription box, and it is my absolute favorite. It is feminine without being too sweet, and wears beautifully. I live in the high mountains of the Chihuahuan desert, and my favorite thing about this perfume is that it reminds me of when it rains here. Petrichor is a unique scent, and Sonoran Bloom captures it very well. This is my husband's favorite perfume.

I bought this scent for my girlfriend for her birthday after smelling other options for close to 30 minutes. And I was still wary that she wouldn’t love it. I was between Dead Sexy, Sonoran Bloom, and Everything and Nothing. It’s always a gamble with perfume but the minute she smelled this and passed it around the table for everyone else to smell, it was clear that she felt this scent had captured her essence and I was elated. It’s a perfectly earthy, crisp, not too sweet, not too musky, amazing smell. Would highly recommend if those descriptors ring true for what your nose likes!

I got this in my Margot Elena box and I’m obsessed. It has become my go to scent and I’ve gotten so many complements on it.

Nathalir stated it well... "hot desert rocks"... it gives me a mental picture of dry red clay. ((**Not saying it actually smells like dry clay, just paints the mental picture**)) is modern and artful while still harkening back to vintage classics like Chantilly (pre-reformulation!) I find perichor smells bitter in nature, and while that is a note of this fragrance, the effect is dry, sun-baked and powdery when combined with the other notes. The fragrance is feminine - not "girlie" but rather sophisticated. It seems to last quite well. This is one reason subscription boxes are so great... they introduce you to things you might pass over otherwise. I probably would've skipped this had it not been in my Sub Box, but then I'd have missed a unique, sophisticated fragrance!

This scent is a really nice balance of floral, earthy, and fresh. It's very unique and pretty. I like that I get hints of it throughout the day but it's not overpowering. You mostly get the floral when you first spray it, but then it mellows out and you can really smell the clay. All of the TokyoMilk scents are easy on my sensitive sinuses which is a huge plus.

Grest scent for warm weather. Decent sillage and longevity.

I'm from the Sonoran Desert, and the monsoons are my favorite smell of all time, so I was excited that this perfume was in the summer box. It smells nice, but nothing at all like the desert. Saguaro blossoms are always 50 ft in the air, so I have no idea if that's accurate or not, but the earthy storm smells that are what make summer in the desert so special are not coming through at all.

This is a beautiful fragrance and strong for summer daytime but I can wear it in summer night time. Mainly this perfume will be used both day and night time during the fall/winter months. The sweet ingredients with the red clay really open up my brain senses in an instance.

Gin and Rosewater is my favorite still but I like the complex notes of Sonoran Bloom. It has an earthy tone with a touch of warmth. Perfect for when you are missing the sun.

It smells like hot desert rocks, agave, and powder. I feel instantly relaxed when I put it on.

I'm a sucker for desert scents and this is a very nice one, if not terribly unique. Very sophisticated and versatile. A win for anyone looking for a scent they can wear to any occasion.
