Hypnotic Eau de Parfum

I’m a huge fan of your Tokyo Milk Dark perfume, Tainted Love, and have been wearing it for over 15 years. My daughter has grown up loving the scent on me, and for her recent birthday, she asked me to pick out a new perfume for her! This is really hard to do, and I didn’t want to buy her MY Scent! So, I started going through the different descriptions one by one. I got to Hypnotic, and one of the reviews caught my eye 'cause it mentioned it has a scent similar to Tainted Love! Then another review mentioned it too, so I went for it and bought Hypnotic! I gave her a gift receipt with it but it wasn't needed cause she is CRAZY about it and says her boyfriend loved it on her too, so yay, Mom!

I bought this scent for my husband and we both love it on him! Best unisex scent I've ever experienced.

This scent has became my signature!
Im very picky when it comes to scents, with most perfumes and fragrances triggering my asthma. This scent was intoxicating and alurring, nice and light but warm and soothing. I couldn't get enough when I found it in a store up in Dallas and just had to buy it!
Will be buying more of this for sure.

Unlike other reviews, I found this perfume strong with decent lasting power. It smells good, but is too warm and sweet for my taste, sort of a very warm amber smell. Definitely a winter fragrance. I can see this working well for others, but it just isn't a good personal match for me.

This is perfect for a flirty daytime date occasion. The citrus is a nice energizing pick me up.

This perfume is complex, every sniff I smell a different note. I originally bought the dark nocturne and I disliked it. I sent it back and got this one instead. I'm so glad I picked Hypnotic. I wish it lasted longer though. I feel like the scent disappears after a half hour.

Hypnotic is my new favorite scent. The spiced vanilla is mesmerizing without being too powerful. The fragrance lasts all day.

I am also hanging onto my Arsenic perfume, but I'm loving this Hypnotic.

The smell is beautiful but it’s so LIGHT. I’m used to other TM dark perfumes that are dark, complex, loud, original, unique. This was a blind buy and again the smell is nice but it’s so faint. This could easily be sold on the Lollia side. I think it’s gonna have to go back. Bummer

I cannot stress how beautiful and unique Tokyo Dark scents usually are.

This is a new favorite for me. Spice/Vanilla not to overwhelming. This smell just might be a favorite over Tainted Love!

Like the smell but sadly poor longetivity on me! Honey and the moon and tainted love last 6-8 hours on me. I get about an hour from this one.

I just received this in the mail last night and I opened the cap but I did not spray anything. Just from opening the cap I thought I would already recognize this scent from another store BUT after spraying, it has another play note in it which makes me feel this fragrance isn't familiar at all and it took me in a whole other direction. The Valencia played out really nicely and I feel thats the note that literally carries you somewhere else. Then it dries down to the familiar Cashmere Spicy Vanilla which is a nice warm cozy quality and it feels like home again. I am not sure about the Curant note. I definitely pick up on the citrus Valencia doing its magic. I would buy this perfume again. Its a beautiful unique fragrance.

After receiving Hypnotic in the fall subscription box and getting so many compliments, I had to purchase another bottle.
It's warm and spicy, mysterious and keeps you wanting more.
This is absolutely a parfume for sweater weather, bonfires, and getting cozy. But I'm wearing everywhere I go this season!

so happy, i wrote in to ME asking for a scent similar to my old fave arsenic, and they suggested this. then i see it in the fall 24 box and couldnt wait to see how it compared. i am so so thrilled!

Lovely. At once soft and sharp; earthy and sweet. After a while it fades and just becomes a part of your skin, which is something I really enjoy. Hypnotic seriously might take Tainted Love’s place as third in my top three (Bulletproof and Dead Sexy being top two, in that order).

Woowww. This composition is simply stunning, because honestly it smells like Dead Sexy and Arsenic (a former from their Dark line) put together, but entangled with juicy currants.
Dead Sexy was a favorite of mine, and Arsenic is still the most intense perfume I own (clinging to my precious bottle since it is discontinued).
But now, Hypnotic - being that it is like those two with a twist of fruit - is an absolute favorite.
Quite frankly, I’d collect the artful bottles whether I liked the fragrances or not. The packaging is amazing. So much thought is put into these creations!

Oh, and it wouldn’t hurt if y’all wanted to bring back Bittersweet. Just a thought :p

This line of 4 new fragrances for 2024 are all 10/10, and Hypnotic is a sweet yet spicy yet earthy scent with citrus notes. When paired with Nocturnal it provides a seamless flow from sharp to musky.

I would say this is both a day and night perfume, as it is both sultry but not overpowering. It certainly gives me night out vibes similar to Tainted Love.

First off let me say that I love both tainted love and dead sexy. I wear tainted love as my signature winter scent. So I’ve been excited to get my hands on the newest in the Tokyo milk dark perfumes. Hypnotic is a perfect name for this scent. It has a soft and cozy feel yet it has a sharp bright undertone to it. Very unique. I would say it is less similar to tainted love compared to femme fatale. Femme fatale is a warmer and less sweet version of tainted love. Hypnotic feels like sweeter and brighter uplifting fragrance with a soft edge. I adore it already and can’t stop smelling this sweetly hypnotic perfume!
